Health insurance and proof of certain immunizations are mandatory requirements for all UCLA students, and are conditions of registration. Appeal a Nonresident Classification

Nonresident classification can be appealed, but only in limited cases. The process is handled by the UC Office of General Counsel. Grade Submission Deadlines

Faculty must submit final grades electronically, through MyUCLA Gradebook or Gradebook Express, by the published deadline. The instructor in charge of a course is responsible for determining the grade of each student in the course. Graduate Student Enrollment Passes

Enrollment for graduate students takes place during a single pass that lasts through Friday of week ten. Law, Medicine, and Dentistry students enroll as instructed by their respective student affairs offices. All other graduate students eligible to enroll for the next term are randomly assigned one appointment time or pass, and can enroll from the beginning of the specified appointment time through midnight on Friday of the second week of the term. Enrollment may be limited to students who have attained a certain class level or declared a specific major or minor, or may require department or instructor consent. Identifying the term in which degree requirements will be completed initiates the steps that lead to award of a degree. Undergraduate declaration of candidacy and verification of the degree-expected term are processed through the online Declaration of Candidacy.
