Registrar service hours
Get answers and information from the Registrar’s Office, virtually through Zoom or in person at 1113 Murphy Hall. Virtual and in-person hours are Monday-Friday 10 a.m. to 12 noon and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., except holidays.
Registrar hours September 14
On September 14, the Registrar’s Office will be closed until 11 a.m. for a Student Affairs staff event. In-person service and virtual sessions will open at 11 a.m. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Effective fall 2021, the Earth, Planetary, and Space Sciences department offers MS and PhD degrees in planetary sciences.
Effective fall 2021, the Conservation of Archeological and Ethnographic Materials interdepartmental program and MA degree are renamed Conservation of Cultural Heritage.
Effective fall 2021, the Physics and Astronomy department offers a self-supporting Master of Quantum Science and Technology (MQST) degree.
Effective fall 2021, the Statistics department offers a new minor in Social Data Science. The minor focuses on using data to address societal issues.
New European Languages and Transcultural Studies department
Effective fall 2021, the departments of French and Francophone Studies, Germanic Languages, and Italian—and the Scandinavian Section—merge to become the department of European Languages and Transcultural Studies (ELTS).
Juneteenth observed as UC holiday
The University of California will observe Juneteenth—a day recognizing and celebrating the end of slavery in the U.S.—as a universitywide holiday. This year UC will observe the holiday on Monday, June 28. See the UC announcement for details.
Effective spring 2021, the master’s degree in applied economics is renamed Master of Quantitative Economics (MQE).
Effective spring 2021, the Health Policy and Management department offers an online Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) degree.
