Transcript-Related Fees

There is no charge for academic transcripts that are covered by the one-time document fee. Charges for special delivery services may apply. Cancel Registration

Students who have paid fees but do not plan to enroll in classes for a term must cancel their registration to receive fee refunds. Before the first day of instruction, students who have paid fees but do not plan to attend classes for a term may cancel their registration. One-Term Absence

Undergraduate students who complete a term but do not register the next term may return the subsequent term. Undergraduate students who complete a term (fall, winter, spring), and do not register the following term, may return to UCLA the subsequent term as a continuing student and be eligible to register and enroll during regular assigned appointment times. Course Materials Fees

Fees may be charged for materials used in laboratory, studio, and other courses. A per-class course materials fee (sometimes known as a lab fee) is assessed based on class enrollment as of Friday of the fourth week of the term. Students are assessed these fees regardless of major.
