Campus personnel with access to student records data in any location or format (SRS, SAWeb, SRDB, Enterprise Directory, etc.) are required to complete the FERPA Quiz before gaining access to student data and to take the quiz every two years to continue access. Registration is a two-step process: payment of fees and enrollment in classes. Students can enroll in classes, but without fee payment by the published deadline, classes are dropped. New students who do not pay registration fees for their admit term must file a new application for admission if they wish to return to UCLA. Admission is not guaranteed.
