All deadlines fall on Friday of the week(s) indicated. Fees apply as shown.

Graduate students can add, drop, change grading basis, or change variable units through the end of the last day of the tenth week of the term. After Friday of week two, a fee may be charged to make a change. See the table to determine which changes incur a fee.

Fees for transactions made through MyUCLA are automatically charged to BruinBill. Anything submitted or requested as an exception to a published deadline is subject to a penalty fee (included where applicable). Breakage is charged at replacement cost.

Transcript Notation

Retroactive changes: A retroactive add or drop generates a transcript notation.

A transcript notation records the date the course was added or dropped in the following format:
