UCLA Registrar's Office

A study list, which records all classes in which a student is enrolled for a term, becomes official at midnight on Friday of week two.

Use the MyUCLA Class Planner to plan classes for a term. Enroll in classes during assigned appointment times and observe study list change deadlines. In planning courses for a term, students are responsible for avoiding class conflicts and avoiding conflicting or multiple same-day final examinations. Study lists become official at midnight on Friday of the second week of the term.

Student Responsibility

Each student is responsible for all classes and the grading basis for each class as listed on the study list, and cannot receive credit for classes not listed. Errors or omissions should be corrected before the College or school deadline for changes by petition. Enrollment deadlines end at midnight on the published date.

The study list should be checked after all enrollment transactions.

Unapproved withdrawal from or neglect of a class entered on the study list results in a failing grade.

A student who has been added to a class from a wait list and no longer wants that class must drop it before the study list deadline.

The Registrar’s Office does not accommodate students who wish to switch class sections with one another, or condone such actions. Students should consult a counselor in the course department for such requests. There is no guarantee of accommodation.
